Charles Marshall
Senior Consultant
Charles Marshall is a Senior Consultant with ML Weekes & Company and a Certified Public Accountant in Massachusetts. Charles provides both consulting and auditing services to the Firm’s clients. He has completed projects involving the development of cost allocation plans and indirect cost rates, and audits performed in response to various federal and state government agency requirements. These services were provided to government entities, government contractors, not-for-profit institutions, and private organizations.
Charles has an in-depth knowledge of database and information systems and has performed services involving the extraction and analysis of data from client database systems. Charles has performed several large scale data cleansing projects through the use of different software applications and programming skills. Other projects coordinated by Charles involved data file readers and writers to facilitate manipulation and reformatting of large volumes of data. Charles has created custom database driven applications for clients including data entry functionality, complex calculations and custom reporting tools.
Charles recent experience includes serving as Controller for one of Harvard University’s colleges, as well as positions in accounting with the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution and other non-profits. In addition, he was a business systems analyst with Commonfund, a not-for-profit educational institution located in Wilton, CT. In this role he provided systems analysis and design, database development and maintenance, as well as managed numerous internal and external information technology projects.
Charles earned his MBA in Finance from Fairfield University. He holds a B.S. in Accounting also from Fairfield University and is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma and Beta Alpha Psi.
