Shaun House is a Senior Consultant with ML Weekes & Company, PC. Shaun is new to the team and brings experience from the Department of the Interior, where he negotiated indirect cost rates for numerous federal agencies, including Department of State (DOS), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), and United States Department of Agriculture (USDA). Shaun has experience with the Uniform Guidance (2 CFR Part 200) and the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR 31.2).

Shaun assists in the interpretation of federal government regulations pertaining to government grants and contracts and advises on their implementation. Shaun has experience with a variety of clients, including not-for-profit organizations, for-profit organizations, and research institutes that he has helped to navigate through the Facilities and Administrative (F&A) and indirect cost rate negotiation process with a focus on compliance and optimizing reimbursement.

Before joining ML Weekes & Company, Shaun was an auditor/negotiator for the Department of the Interior in Sacramento, California. During this time, he was responsible for the analysis of indirect cost rate proposals, interpretation of the Uniform Guidance and the Federal Acquisition Regulation, and negotiation of F&A and indirect cost rates.

Shaun earned a B.B.A. in Accounting & Finance from the University of Hawaii – Manoa and is a member of the Golden Key International Honour Society.
